Action Traffic Control Ltd has been committed to delivering the highest safety standards and customer service to its clients and the general public since 2003. Originally a one man band, Action Traffic now employs 45 staff and a large vehicle fleet.
With a background in safety and risk control, company Director Andrew Seavill brings a very unique safety awareness to the traffic management industry. It could be argued that Andrew’s diverse background in safety (pre hospital and emergency care, mountain-Ski Patrol, sea-Auckland Harbour Master Maritime Officer, film-onsite safety medic) makes the Action Traffic Management Team the best option in the industry for predetermining and preventing potential road hazards (see client Testimonials). A safety expert at the helm definitely brings added safety awareness to all traffic managed sites undertaken by Action Traffic Control Ltd staff.
Action Traffic Control’s dedication to providing the safest environment to all sites undertaken is representative of the business; all Action Traffic Control staff understand providing a safe environment adds to the quality of an event, film or construction activity. All traffic control staff are Site Safe qualified and all Action Traffic Control's vehicles are Transit compliant.
In 2006 Andrew was awarded the NZ Police Auckland City District Certificate of Appreciation, the award was in recognition of outstanding performance and support offered to Auckland City District Police in relation to VIP operations and major public events. Andrew’s dedication to the development, management and implementation of traffic management plans enabled major events to occur without incident whilst minimising disruption to other road users. Action Traffic Control continues to work alongside the NZ Police today, the company’s assistance and professionalism is still highly valued.
Giving back
Action Traffic Control plays a major role in local community events (assisting in the affordability of running events focused on promoting community cohesiveness).
Action Traffic Control contributes to: Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Auckland Volunteer Fire Brigade, Brain Injury Association, Epilepsy Association, Family and Foster Care, Remuera Lions Club Charitable Trust.
